Role Overview:
As the Account Director, you’ll lead key client accounts—driving strategic direction, campaign execution, and strong senior client relationships. You’ll manage and mentor a team of Account Managers and Executives to deliver impactful, high-quality work that supports business growth.
Experience in the financial or banking sector is a plus, and will be valuable in working with clients in this space.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the senior point of contact for clients, championing their business objectives while ensuring the agency consistently delivers outstanding work.
- Lead strategic discussions on integrated campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader brand and business goals.
- Build long-term client partnerships founded on trust, strategic value, and delivery excellence.
- Confidently ead client meetings, reviews, and presentations, including high-stakes sessions with senior stakeholders.
- Oversee the full campaign lifecycle—from brief intake to final execution—ensuring strategic integrity across all deliverables.
- Manage workflows and resources across integrated campaigns, including ATL, BTL, and digital activations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage creative, production, and approval timelines across concurrent projects.
- Ensure the delivery of brand-aligned work that consistently meets client expectations and agency quality standards.
- Provide leadership, support, and clear direction to your account team to ensure work is delivered on time, on brief, and within budget.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for organic growth and cross-functional collaboration.
- Take full ownership of the financial performance of your accounts, including revenue forecasting, cost management, and profitability.
Required Skills & Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or communications, with a proven track record in a client-facing leadership role.
- Strong background in managing integrated campaigns across TV, print, digital, mobile, and social platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic marketing plans and executional proposals for integrated marketing communications (IMC).
- Experienced in leading cross-functional teams across planning, creative, media, and production to deliver cohesive and impactful campaigns.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience in budgeting, quotation development, and project cost optimisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and inspire confidence among clients and internal stakeholders.
- Skilled in persuasive storytelling and confident in delivering presentations that engage and influence.
