As we establish a Singapore based finance team for the livestock division, we are looking to hire a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Executive
Job scope
- Process financial and accounting transactions related to vessel operations (e.g. maintenance, provisions & crew) and office expenditures
- Prepare, process, and execute vendor payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date entries in the financial system (D365)
- Perform month-end closing activities and account reconciliations across several legal entities
- Assist with the preparation of accruals and balance sheet classifications
- Support the finance team with ad hoc financial tasks and reporting needs
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 2–4 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail
- Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable/Payable and general ledger processes
- Experience with month-end closing procedures is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with D365 Finance module is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
