Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Accounts Assistant:

Job Responsibilities:

Take over invoicing responsibilities from the Customer Service team.
Liaise with the Customer Service team to gather necessary details and supporting documents.
Ensure prompt and accurate billing to customers.
Collect customer cheques from the Admin team and prepare bank-in slips.
Update cash book balances and maintain the Accounts Receivable (AR) report.
Match customer payments with sales invoices.
Investigate and follow up on overpayments or underpayments.
Follow up with customers on overdue invoices.
Prepare intercompany invoices as required.
Record receipt journals in the ERP system.
Generate and send monthly statements of account to debtors.
Monitor AR movements and inform the Sales team of long overdue accounts.
Maintain proper filing of invoices and AR documentation.
Assist auditors with document verification during audit exercises.
Input all monthly AR receipts into the accounting system.
Post reviewed transactions to the General Ledger (GL) module.

Job Requirements:

Minimum ITE qualification or relevant accounting certification.
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Accounts Receivable is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
