- Open Account Trade (OAT) Processing & Administration: Process and administer OAT transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all internal policies and compliance requirements. This includes pre-processing/processing of applications, miscellaneous functions and complying with the stipulated turnaround time. Transaction processing includes and not limited to:
- Processing of invoices & transport/supporting documents
- Processing of disbursements to client
- Application of payments received to outstanding invoices
- Monitoring and follow up with buyer on overdue invoices
- Stakeholders Interaction & Communication: Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients in transaction processing and address any queries.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance guidelines and ensure all processes are compliant to requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Understanding of trade finance products and documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Gen AI tools or data analytics is a plus, but not required. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential.
- Automated Document Extraction: Gen AI can assist to automate document types classification, matching of related documents and data extraction from applications for completeness and accuracy, reducing manual effort and improving turnaround time.
- Automated Processing Checks: Gen AI can assist to automate processing checks against processing checklist and compliance guidelines, hence reducing manual effort and improving turnaround time.
- Process Automation: Gen AI can help to automate repetitive tasks, freeing up the analyst to focus on more complex and value-added activities.
