DB Group will examine its Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) strategies, goals and objectives on an ongoing basis and maintain an effective program for DB’s business that reflects the best practices for a diversified, global financial services provider. The AML team sits within the AFC function.

Your key responsibilities:
Assist in the continued implementation of the applicable Group and divisional Policies on AML/CFT and KYC, and maintenance of Singapore AFC policies and procedures.
Advising on and ensuring the implementation of applicable Group AML / CTF Policies and local regulatory requirement to CB/IB Business.
Participating in the assessment and gap analysis of relevant internal policies and procedures, with relevant local regulatory obligations and DB Group standards, in order to ensure local AML regulatory requirements are reflected in the local policies.
Monitoring local regulatory AML/CTF and sanctions developments and notifying relevant changes and specifications to the MLRO and/or Team Lead.
Assist in the Suspicious Transaction Reporting process to assess Unusual and/or Potentially Suspicious activity from AML Transaction Monitoring alerts and other sources and ensure suspicious transactions in Singapore are reported to the authorities in compliance with applicable rules.
Ensuring appropriate reporting and escalation of issues and/or incidents to the MLRO and / or Team Lead.
Assist in the review of outsourced AML services for Singapore.
Review Client escalations and provide AML regulatory advice on higher risk KYC files, including assessing and approving KYC waiver requests as appropriate.
Conducting the local AML Risk Assessment in the country.
Providing or assisting the provision of training on local regulatory requirements and internal policies, along with producing training materials.
Assess and approve third party payment requests.
Assist in preparatory / coordination matters for audit or regulatory submission.
Ensure proper documentation and record keeping in accordance with the applicable standards.
Contributing to DB AML Function as a whole by sharing knowledge and best practices with AFC/AML Officers of the other Businesses and entities by involving in regional calls or other forum.
Discharging the responsibilities of local AML officers as set out under global KYC policies for the division that the AMLO is responsible for.
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
Your skills and experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in AML Advisory Compliance
Proven experience and knowledge of local Singapore AML / CTF regulatory requirements
Proven experience in AML advisory within a Corporate or Investment Banking
Working experience in AML advisory and demonstrated hands-on experience in AML and having good technical AML knowledge.
Strong analytical skills, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Ability to work under tight datelines, make decisions, work well as part of a team and independently.
