Key Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical engineering designs based on project requirements, from conceptualization through schematic and detailed design stages.
- Perform prototype testing, troubleshooting, and compile detailed analysis reports.
- Generate electrical schematics using manufacturer-specific parts, ensuring compliance with IEC standards.
- Participate in Product Data Management (PDM) implementation testing for electrical design automation.
- Involve in parts assembly, wiring, system installation, and performance evaluation.
- Provide technical support to production, customer service, and field service teams as required.
- Collaborate with customers on a weekly basis to discuss design improvements and concepts via calls or face-to-face meetings.
- Perform project costing and re-engineering initiatives to enhance project profit margins.
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify high-risk electrical designs, carry out evaluation tests, and implement risk mitigation plans.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in resolving technical challenges.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) or related field.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including effective report writing.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks is an added advantage.
