Department Overview
Nomura's Global Markets Division handles client transactions for financial institutions, corporates, governments and investment funds around the world. We act as market makers, trading in fixed income and equity securities, including currencies, interest rates and credit in cash, derivatives and structured products. We have taken market-leading positions across the globe by leveraging the strength of our talent, client relationships and technology.
Role description:
- Managing corporate roadshow for AEJ companies
- Work independently to organize corporate roadshow virtually and/or physically while communicating with external and internal counterparts from the planning to the execution.
- Arrange roadshow logistics (e.g. ground transportation, hotel, lunch & dinner and any ad-hoc request.)
- Handle virtual meeting (mainly on WebEx platform) including setting up of the platform, test call with corporates and facilitating the call as a moderator.
- Touch base with investor clients to arrange and prepare for their corporate meetings.
- Prime responsibility is handling AEJ products (AEJ corporates), with a core specialization on particularly Korean companies which are we’re seeing increasing demand in the region.
- Conference, tour and thematic event coordination (virtual and/or physical events)
- Support the process of corporate invitation and confirmation.
- Support 1-on-1 meeting scheduling for conferences
- Manage conference website, online registration system and virtual meeting platform.
- Onsite logistics support and housekeeping duty.
- Arrange bespoke meetings for investor clients to see and/or visit companies and experts in the region, with particular focus on managing Korean companies
- Managing Analyst Marketing along with Sales team.
- Outbound analyst marketing (ASEAN analysts out of the region)
- Inbound analyst marketing (AEJ analysts ex ASEAN travelling to Singapore)
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Corporate Access, or in Sales/Sales assistant or Client Services.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within Financial Services.
- Team player with self-starter, proactive, positive and learning attitude.
- Able to handle multi-tasking in a fast paced environment while working long hours before/during large scale events.
- Korean language fluency– native or business level communication required, given the close interaction required with Korea-based clients
