Position Overview
We are looking for an Associate Engineer to support the development, operation and maintenance of simulator hardware and systems. The candidate must have strong strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, technical expertise in modeling and software, and a detail-oriented mindset to design, implement, and validate virtual models. They must be proficient with engineering and programming tools and maintain a passion for continuous learning in simulation technologies.
Job Description
1. Engineering Support
- Perform corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance and repairs in simulator hardware and systems
- Perform routine checks, troubleshooting, and part replacements to ensure simulators are always in working condition
- Calibrate simulators for accuracy and performance
- Support the setup of new simulator hardware and systems
2. Software Support
- Provide basic support for simulator application software (configuration, settings adjustments, software updates etc)
- Testing of the simulator application software to comply with customer requirements
- Assist in troubleshooting and correction of software bugs and performance issues
- Design and develop software programs
3. General Support
- Maintain technical documentation and repair logs
- Respond to customers fault calls and resolve problems reported
- Provide on-site technical assistance to customers Provide customer training on the usage and operations of the simulators
Requirements
- Diploma / ITE Higher Nitec certificate in Engineering or IT
- Knowledge in C#, SQL, Unity software, 3D modelling, AR/VR Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
