Job Description
Purpose:
The Associate works with the tax team to provide support on tax compliance services to a mixed portfolio of corporate and individual clients.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with the tax team to provide support on tax compliance services to a mixed portfolio of corporate and individual clients.
- Support clients on the queries raised by the IRAS, including tax audits.
- Provide support to team in tax advisory and consulting assignments.
- Build and manage relationship with clients.
- Core responsibilities will include monitoring deadlines of a portfolio of clients and preparation work.
Tasks / Duties:
- Liaise with clients or colleagues to collate the information necessary to prepare the tax computations and returns.
- Preparation of corporate and individual tax computations and returns.
- Liaise with IRAS and the client on tax related matters.
- Handle withholding tax returns, applications for Certificate of Residence and other matters in relation to tax.
- Provide support to team in attending queries issued by the IRAS.
Qualifications
- Degree / Diploma in Accounting or Business or Professional qualifications;
- Fresh graduates are welcome;
- Experienced personnel with 1 year of experience in Singapore Corporate Tax and Individual Tax is preferred;
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel);
- Attention to details, organised, strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive work attitude, ability to manage multiple assignments at the same time, independent worker, shows initiative and a team player.
