Your Day-To-Day
To assist guests in the setup and dismantling of any AV equipment brought in for the event.
To inspect and ensure that all AV equipment are continuously kept in good condition and are well maintained.
Set necessary equipment in function rooms, including outdoor catering events; as directed in the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
To support and be involved in communicating, attending and checking contractor related projects with regards to AV matters.
Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by the AV Manager.
To ensure that all AV equipment belonging to the Hotel as well as AV equipment belonging to guests are properly and safely stored in a secured location.
Cleaning of AV equipment to ensure all equipment are clean and presentable when in use.
Coordinate and carry out instructions of the AV Manager in operating lighting, sound and AV equipment.
To carry out quarterly, bi-yearly, yearly inventory of all operating equipment.
To schedule all the respective events’ air-conditioning, digital signages and daily site inspections.
Organize and keep neat and tidy of all the AV Stores and AV Rooms.
Ensuring all equipment required for event is available.
What we need from you
Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience with related certificates.
Good command of spoken and written English Great communication skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
To be flexible in working hours
Able to work independently and meet deadlines
Requires a familiarity with hotel facilities, services, fire and evacuation procedures
