Role Overview
This role is responsible for collaborating with business users to define system requirements, developing and implementing technology solutions, and supporting the day-to-day operations of banking applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage a wide range of stakeholders including Bankers, Traders, Finance, Risk, Capital Markets, and Operations to gather and analyse business requirements.
- Manage the full solution lifecycle, including coding, unit testing, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), and overseeing production implementation.
- Collaborate with external parties such as vendors and head offices to address project needs and resolve technical issues.
- Provide daily application support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Implement system enhancements and code changes, ensuring smooth and timely deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognised university.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in IT business analysis within the banking or financial services sector, including those deployed via outsourcing arrangements.
- Proficiency in software development, particularly with strong coding skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese
