Job Summary
Yuka is seeking experienced Bank Project Management Officers (PMO) to join our dynamic team. The successful incumbents would be based in Singapore or Tokyo, Japan. Here, you will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability, to ensure strong cross-functional teamwork and alignment to project goals and objectives.
We are offering a 2-year renewable contract based on satisfactory performance and strong performers may be converted to Permanent staff.
Job Responsibilities
- As PMO, you will support the Project Manager with creating documents and facilitating meeting sessions.
- Create detailed diagrams and documents to communicate business requirements and changes to system stakeholders to ensure smooth project executions.
- Provide strong support to manage task, timeline, communication, risk, vendor, and document quality.
- Support the project lifecycle from requirement scoping, designing, technical construction, user acceptance testing, training, documentation and implementation, in accordance with the Project Management Process and Methodology.
- Understand the business requirements, system architectures, and system designs.
- Coordinate with system stakeholders in Japan, Singapore, and other APAC regions.
- Communicate effectively the project progress, status, and key decisions to stakeholders, including senior management, and provide regular updates on project metrics, risk and dependencies.
- Work closely with the Project Lead/Owner/Sponsor to drive strategic or major initiatives as part of the organization’s roadmap and strategy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as IT Project Manager or Project Management Officer, preferably in multinational projects or worked in global teams.
- Knowledge or work experience required for at least two of the following areas:
- Foreign Exchange (FX)
- Money Market (MM)
- Derivatives (Mainly, Interest Rate Swap or Cross-currency Swap)
- Bonds
- Fast/GIRO payment
- XB/MEPS payment
- Proficient in creating clear and professional business flow diagrams and system configuration diagrams using MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
- Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders in English and Japanese (a plus as need to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders).
- Strong team collaboration skills.
Working Conditions
- Location : CBD with hybrid work arrangement / have vacancies to be based in Tokyo, Japan office
- Work Hours : Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:30PM
