Job Description
- Safe Transportation: Operating the bus on a designated route, adhering to traffic laws and company safety rules, and ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.
- Passenger Assistance: Assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, especially those with mobility limitations, and providing information about routes and schedules.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bus.
- Communication: Maintaining communication with dispatchers or supervisors, reporting accidents or incidents, and potentially providing customer service.
- Record Keeping: Completing necessary paperwork, such as mileage logs and fuel consumption reports.
- Route Adherence: Following the assigned bus route and schedule, ensuring timely arrival and departure at stops.
- Customer Service: Addressing passenger inquiries, providing information, and maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.
- Special Operations: May be involved in charter or special event transportation, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 and Class 4 Singapore driving license.
- Minimum 5 year driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore roads, LTA regulations, and safety standards.
