Responsibilities
- Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through proactive engagement and responsive service.
- Identify and develop new customer accounts, generate leads, and proactively pursue business opportunities to meet sales targets
- Collaborate with the General Manager to plan and implement strategic sales initiatives that enhance market competitiveness.
- Coordinate and monitor sales activities to grow market presence and increase volume.
- Arranging meetings with existing and potential customers to prospect for new business
- Effective in negotiating the terms, price, delivery, and specification with customer of an agreement or sales contract and closing sales
- Gathering and updating customer and market information
- Support and participate in key customer meetings, sales presentations, proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
- Liaise with internal project teams to ensure that all contractual obligations and delivery specifications are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Participate in internal training and product familiarization programs.
- Internal reporting of sales progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and customer information in the company’s CRM system.
- Assist in resolving post-sales product issues and managing customer complaints.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of trade shows, exhibitions, and other marketing events.
- Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstration.
- Overseas travel may be required.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or BD function. Experience in marine product related sales would be added advantage
- PC literate, proficient in English and MS Office applications.
- Able to conduct and present oneself professionally
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and sale skills.
- Overseas travel may be required.
