Job Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Supply Chain department within the Enterprise Supply Chain group. This role is pivotal in supporting the semiconductor material product portfolio market, which falls under the Display Electronics Product Platform business group. Major Duties and Responsibilities
Technical Contributions
- Perform and guide technical activities resulting from approved self-initiated or assigned manufacturing programs, leading to innovative applications and extensions of existing or new products/technologies that are of major importance to the division/business/staff organization.
- Expand the use of extensive knowledge of statistical techniques for monitoring and maintain a continuous improvement mindset for manufacturing processes.
Leadership
- Initiate, identify, recommend, and oversee programs in the manufacturing area of responsibility to improve product cost, service, and quality.
- Collaborate with the global SOS Manufacturing team and product development/application team to resolve customer issues.
Interaction
- Foster and cultivate an extensive network of support and resources (laboratory, manufacturing quality, engineering, sales, and marketing) to facilitate the completion of assignments.
- Manage customer communications and engagement for tasks and provide solutions through continuous improvement projects or new product introductions using best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above is preferred.
- Semiconductor fab and supplier experience, manufacturing background, product and process engineering expertise
- A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
- Polishing material experience from semiconductor manufacturing or supplier will be preferred.
- Management of Change and Continuous Improvement processes
- Project Management and Leadership
- Quality Management Systems and Lean Six Sigma experience
- Extensive knowledge base of statistical techniques for monitoring and improving manufacturing processes
- Multinational or global interactions may be required. Local language and working knowledge of English is generally required.
