Mantec Engineering is a specialist subcontractor with over 30 years of experience in aluminium and glazing works. We are looking for a dedicated Drafter cum Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be involved in both technical drafting and cost estimation to support project execution from design to fabrication.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings using AutoCAD (or Revit preferred).
- Conduct accurate material quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
- Assist in project costing, BOQ preparation, and progress claims.
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to verify quantities and VO submissions.
- Maintain project records and documentation for cost tracking and submission.
- Support procurement by generating material schedules and liaising with suppliers.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent in Architectural Technology, Quantity Surveying, Building Services, or related fields.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and basic quantity surveying principles.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction or façade-related trades is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings independently.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and time management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication in English (Plus points if able to speak in Mandarin)
