As Chef de Partie or Demi Chef, you will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef with kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented in line with the restaurant’s standards. You will help maintain consistency during service and contribute to the smooth, efficient running of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the required standard within your section.
- Ensure mise en place is completed and your station is fully ready for service.
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation throughout all service periods.
- Monitor inventory levels for your section and assist in stock control and ordering.
- Follow all hygiene, health, and food safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth coordination.
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment and uphold kitchen discipline and standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
