Job Description:
- Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and servers (on-premises and cloud).
- Manage servers, accounts, and cloud-related tools to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor system performance and maintain infrastructure in line with business requirements.
- Collaborate with users and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring minimal service impact.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure security compliance through access controls, firewalls, backups, patching, and system hardening.
- Perform monthly patching and system upgrades to latest releases and models.
- Respond promptly to incidents and service requests (SRs).
- Conduct regular account reviews and generate reports.
- Research and recommend new technologies and approaches for system improvements.
- Provide technical support during and outside office hours, including on-call duties.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
- Train and mentor staff on new technologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in administration of On-Premises Servers and Cloud Operations (AWS & Azure).
- Strong expertise in AWS EC2, Lambda, S3, Glacier, EBS, Storage Gateway, IAM, ECS, EKS, and Azure Active Directory.
- Solid working experience with Load Balancers, Route Tables, NACLs, Security Groups, and NSGs.
- Experience in DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automation tools).
- Proficient in Terraform, scripting (PowerShell, Shell, or equivalent), and cloud automation tools (Terraform, Chef, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Linux (RedHat) and Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) administration.
- Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Azure, and AWS environments.
- Deep expertise in Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, IIS, SCCM, WSUS, and Windows Clustering.
- Familiarity with backup and antivirus solutions (Commvault, NetBackup, TrendMicro, Symantec).
- Knowledge of storage products is an advantage.
- Exposure to Application tiers, IIS, Databases, and Change Management processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle demanding SLA-driven environments shift rotation, standby duties, and off-peak maintenance may be required
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:
- AWS SysOps Administrator or Azure Administrator (Mandatory).
- RHEL, MCSE, MCSA, ITIL, or equivalent certifications (Preferred).
- Basic networking knowledge and Linux/Unix cross-training ability.
- Experience in WOG environment is an added advantage.
