Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to job specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
- Select and install correct cutting tools, fixtures, and materials.
- Monitor machining operations to ensure parts are within tolerance.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Conduct basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
- Collaborate with engineers and QC teams for process improvements.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience operating CNC milling machines.
- Familiarity with G-code and CNC programming basics.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Skilled in using measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge).
- Knowledge of machine shop safety and maintenance procedures.
- Attention to detail, quality-focused, and reliable team player.
