Key Responsibilities
Global Compensation Architecture
- Design and implement compensation structures across key regions (Hong Kong, Singapore, mainland China), balancing regulatory compliance and market competitiveness
- Lead market benchmarking and build a proprietary digital asset compensation database
- Develop hybrid incentive models (fiat + equity) tailored to core exchange functions
Performance Management & Strategic Alignment
- Redesign OKR frameworks, enabling goal setting and measurement for tech and institutional sales teams
- Develop data-driven evaluation tools, leveraging trading volume, risk indicators, and business KPIs
- Establish executive long-term incentive (LTI) mechanisms tied to company value creation
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Control
- Collaborate with HK compliance to ensure alignment with Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) regulations
- Implement compensation firewalls for sensitive roles such as risk and treasury functions
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- 8+ years of experience in compensation management, including 3+ years at a top-tier internet company (e.g., Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance) or leading crypto exchange
- Proven track record in designing compensation for high-velocity industries (e.g., trading platforms, fintech), including hands-on experience implementing schemes in Hong Kong and Singapore
- Led full-cycle OKR optimization projects, especially for tech teams
- Fluent in English; capable of collaborating with teams across Hong Kong and international offices
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with HRIS selection and implementation (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Familiarity with digital asset regulatory frameworks (e.g., FATF Travel Rule, HK VASP regime)
- Relevant certifications such as GRP, CCP
