Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Simulation Engineer to support the simulation and analysis of fluid flow, thermal simulation, and related physical phenomena in product development. The ideal candidate will have experience with industry-standard CFD tools and a solid foundation in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and simulation-driven design optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CFD simulations to support design, development, and optimization of products and systems
- Analyze and recommend designs changes in fluid flow, thermal performance, aerodynamics, and/or cooling efficiency as required by the project
- Develop computational models, define boundary conditions, mesh geometry, and run simulations using tools such as ANSYS Fluent, FloEFD, or other CFD software packages
- Interpret simulation results, create reports, and provide actionable recommendations to design and product teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, testing, and manufacturing to integrate simulation insights into product development
- Initiate experiments to gather insights that connect the gaps between simulation models, products, and systems as needed
- Validate simulation results with physical test data and refine models as necessary
- Maintain simulation best practices and contribute to the development of simulation standards and procedures
- Stay current with emerging CFD technologies and techniques
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering, Physics or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in fluid flow / thermal simulation
- Experience in mechanical design and experimental techniques preferred
- Programming knowledge in C/C++ and/or Python
- Proficiency in using simulation software packages such as ANSYS Fluent, FloEFD, COMSOL, or similar CFD tools
