SDLC ENGINEERING
Part of the Goldman Sachs’ Core Engineering group's function is to provide best in class language support and tooling for our engineering community to facilitate the building, testing and deployment of their products. We strive for our tooling to improve product quality, developer productivity and increase opportunities for collaboration. WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer to join our team at Goldman Sachs. This role is focused on designing, deployment, and management of agentic AI systems to enhance the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating solutions to manage, and optimize the performance of autonomous AI software engineering agents. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the tools and services developed are seamlessly integrated into the existing development workflows, ultimately driving improvements in productivity across the organization. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience as a programming, software engineering, or similar job roles.
- General knowledge of multiple languages, and in-depth strong programming skills of at least one of: Golang, Python, Java, C++.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with continuous integration, deployment pipelines, monitoring solutions
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, driving consensus, and influencing outcomes, strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong oral and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc / MSc in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering or related field)
- Experience with AI and machine learning technologies.
- Experience with DevOps, SRE, infrastructure as code, Terraform, AWS
- General knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with all stages in the lifecycle of developing and running large distributed systems Knowledgeable about networking (TCP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, SSH)
