Our client is leading global manufacturer. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Customer Service, Assistant Manager to be part of their Marketing Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East Area - easily accessible.
Duties of Customer Service, Assistant Manager:
- Lead and manage sales support operations , ensuring smooth order fulfilment and alignment with customer service standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Logistics, Marketing, Supply Chain) to drive operational efficiency and service improvements.
- Mentor and support junior team members in handling daily tasks and customer communications.
- Identify and close process gaps in sales coordination and order management, while supporting system enhancements and digital initiatives (e.g. SAP B1, Salesforce).
- Oversee customer escalations , collaborating cross-functionally for resolution and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Generate reports and analyse sales data to provide insights for commercial teams and support demand forecasting and budget planning.
- Monitor inventory health and allocation , working closely with Procurement and Sales to optimise stock turnover and reduce excess.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal controls , while driving continuous improvement initiatives across customer service and sales functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with regional exposure in sales operations, customer service or order management
- Strong ERP and CRM knowledge
