We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data & AI Presales Lead to drive the technical and strategic positioning of our data and AI offerings during the sales lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data platforms, advanced analytics, and AI, coupled with a solid understanding of consultative selling and customer engagement. You will play a critical role in bridging sales, solutioning, and delivery to accelerate deal closures and ensure high customer satisfaction.
What you will do:
Presales Solutioning & Proposal Support:
- Engage with enterprise clients to understand their business challenges and identify relevant data and AI use cases.
- Develop solution architectures, implementation roadmaps, and level-of-effort estimates aligned to customer requirements.
- Prepare and present compelling demos, POCs, technical presentations, and proposals.
- Collaborate with bid/proposal teams to craft high-quality responses to RFPs/RFIs, including scope, assumptions, and costing.
Stakeholder Engagement & Thought Leadership:
- Act as a trusted advisor to CxOs, business leaders, and technical stakeholders on data strategy, AI opportunities, and platform modernization.
- Contribute to executive workshops, client discovery sessions, and innovation days to drive data & AI solution adoption.
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and partner forums.
Solution Development & Enablement:
- Collaborate with delivery, engineering, and partner teams to design scalable, secure, and value-driven solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest in data architecture, AI, ModelOps, data governance, and cloud-native analytics.
- Train internal sales and technical teams on new offerings, solution accelerators, and competitive differentiation.
Deal Acceleration & Pipeline Influence:
- Support business development and sales teams in qualifying and closing strategic deals.
- Identify and create reusable solution templates, estimation models, and pitch decks to streamline presales cycles.
- Track and report presales metrics, win/loss analysis, and pipeline health for data & AI engagements.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data & AI solutioning, presales, or technical consulting.
- Hands-on knowledge of modern data & AI platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Qilk / Talend), cloud native services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data engineering, AI, and real-time data use cases.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., BFSI, healthcare, public sector) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
