Role Overview
Capgemini Singapore is seeking a skilled and innovative Data Scientist (GenAI). This role involves developing, training, deploying, and managing data quality monitoring models using machine learning (ML) and generative AI (GenAI). The ideal candidate will bring a continuous improvement mindset and work autonomously while adhering to Agile development principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engineer relevant features from transaction data to enhance model performance.
- Apply feature selection and dimensionality reduction techniques.
- Develop, train, and evaluate ML models using transaction data.
- Optimize models through cross-validation and hyperparameter tuning.
- Monitor and maintain model performance, addressing data drift and degradation.
- Integrate GenAI tools to improve data monitoring efficiency and reduce development time.
- Design and refine prompts for large language models (LLMs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, developers, and analysts.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Maintain thorough documentation of processes, models, and methodologies. Stay current with advancements in ML, GenAI, and data quality monitoring.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Java or Scala.
- Strong foundation in statistical methods and data analysis.
- Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Expertise in time series forecasting and data visualization (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
- Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and database systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker).
- Functional experience in capital markets, especially in Market Risk or Front Office operations.
- Understanding of financial products (e.g., Treasury, FX, Credit, IRD, Bonds).
