Responsibilities:
- To attend weekly progress meetings (minimised, not for the entire meeting duration)
- To attend weekly design and technical meetings
- To attend RFI meetings and facilitate the discussion between the main office people with the Contractor
- To attend other meetings/issues related to clarifications/changes, cost implications
- To manage Contractor's submissions, assign person-in-charge for reviews and responses to RFIs
- To review method statements submitted by the Contractor
- To carry out sanity checks on the comments and responses to RFIs before issuing out
- To issue out the comments to and responses to RFIs
- To set priority of shop drawing submission to be reviewed based on the urgency with respect to construction progress
- To screen through submissions in order to minimise works provided by the main office
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent that is recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Good knowledge of the various engineering design software and analytical tools
- Involved in project management with design coordination experience will be considered as well
