Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure , Intune , and Windows Server support to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to end users, manage endpoint devices, and administer both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure in a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Desktop & Cloud Support :
- Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Deploy, configure, and manage endpoints using Microsoft Intune .
- Administer and support Azure Active Directory , Microsoft 365 , and related services.
- Troubleshoot issues related to user access, M365 apps , and endpoint performance.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding including device setup and account provisioning.
- Patch management, device compliance, and monitoring via Intune.
- Maintain IT documentation and knowledge base.
Server Support :
- Provide basic to intermediate support for Windows Server environments.
- Monitor and manage Active Directory (on-prem) users, groups, and GPOs.
- Perform regular maintenance such as patching , restarts , disk cleanup , and service checks .
- Troubleshoot server-related issues including DNS , DHCP , file shares , and network drives .
- Assist with virtual machine management (e.g., Hyper-V or VMware).
- Perform backups and basic disaster recovery tasks as required.
- Support integration between on-prem and cloud infrastructure (hybrid environment).
- Collaborate with system administrators on escalations and infrastructure upgrades.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk , and Windows server administration .
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune , Azure Active Directory , and Microsoft 365 .
- Solid understanding of Windows OS , Microsoft Endpoint Manager , Active Directory , and basic networking.
- Familiarity with device compliance , conditional access , Autopilot , and Group Policy .
- Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in server support and 1 year in desktop support .
- ITE or Polytechnic graduate in ICT related field.
Nice to Have:
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900 , AZ-104 , MD-102 ).
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Knowledge of cloud-only or hybrid infrastructure environments.
