Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the electrical equipment replacement schedule
- Perform root cause analyses for complex equipment failures and prepare detailed reports
- Recommend and implement equipment modifications to enhance performance and safety
- Oversee scheduled maintenance and respond to urgent electrical issues
- Develop and refine SOPs to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across all electrical systems
- Manage preventive maintenance, including annual substation shutdowns
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, manage inventory, and support risk assessments
- Supervise contractors, negotiate service proposals, and monitor project execution
- Manage project budgets and optimize raw material expenditure
- Evaluate vendor contracts and conduct performance audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a chemical plant environment
- Strong understanding of chemical processes and ESH regulations
- Proficient in computer applications and data analysis
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Self-disciplined, resourceful, and strategic in planning
