About the role
Join 1STEP Pest Control Services Pte Ltd as a full-time Entomologist based in the Tampines North East Region. In this vital role, you will apply your expertise in biological and biomedical sciences to contribute to the company's integrated pest management strategies. You will work closely with the wider team to ensure effective and environmentally-friendly pest control solutions are delivered to our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Conduct field surveys and inspections to identify pest species and populations
- Analyse environmental conditions and make recommendations for appropriate treatment plans
- Develop and implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to customer needs
- Monitor treatment efficacy and make adjustments as required
- Provide technical support and training to the operations team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, regulations and industry best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's pest control services
What we're looking for
- Degree in Entomology, Biological Science or a related discipline
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within the pest control industry
- Strong knowledge of pest biology, behaviour and integrated pest management techniques
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and customer service abilities
- A proactive, detail-oriented and collaborative approach to work
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites
