RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an experienced and product-neutral ERP Consultant to guide our organization through the crucial transition of selecting and implementing a new ERP system.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of business processes, requirements gathering, and ERP system evaluation, with specific expertise in procurement, finance, and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) modules. This role involves collaborating with our business units to document business architecture, processes, and requirements, preparing the RFP pack.
The consultant will also be involved in leading the RFP process, proposal evaluation and recommendations to determine the ERP solution and implementation that aligns with company's objectives and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Engage with various business units to thoroughly understand and document the business requirements, focusing on procurement, finance, and EAM functionalities.
- Business Architecture and Process Documentation: Create detailed documentation of our current business architecture and processes, emphasizing the integration and optimization of procurement, finance, and EAM process and modules within the new ERP system.
- RFP Preparation: Develop an RFP pack that encompasses all business requirements, with a particular focus on the functionalities of procurement, finance, and EAM modules, alongside other essential criteria for vendor and product evaluation.
- Vendor and Product Evaluation: Spearhead the RFP process, meticulously evaluating ERP vendors and their products against our specific business needs, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of procurement, finance, and EAM capabilities.
- Recommendation and Reporting: Deliver a detailed analysis and recommendation for the ERP solution that best aligns with our procurement, finance, and EAM requirements, supported by thorough justifications based on business needs, cost, scalability, and vendor support.
- Implementation Oversight: Work closely with the selected vendor and internal teams to oversee the implementation of the ERP system. Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving issues encountered during the testing and implementation phases. Ensure the project stays on track with the timeline, budget, and scope, addressing any issues promptly.
- Change Management: Lead and facilitate change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption during the ERP system transition. Develop strategies for managing change impacts on staff and operations, ensuring stakeholder engagement and effective communication throughout the process.
- 10 years of relevant ERP systems experience
- Hold a degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certifications in project management and change management methodologies.
- Extensive experience as an ERP Consultant, with specific expertise in the evaluation, selection, and successful implementation of ERP systems encompassing procurement, finance, and EAM modules.
- Strong foundation in change management principles and practices, with proven ability to lead organizations through significant system transitions.
- Direct experience in business process reengineering, particularly in the contexts of procurement, finance, and EAM.
- Demonstrate project management capabilities, specifically in ERP implementation projects, including RFP preparation and vendor evaluation.
- Knowledge of the latest ERP market trends, vendors, and products, with a focus on those offering strong procurement, finance, and EAM modules.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of understanding and mapping complex business processes and requirements.
- Unbiased perspective on ERP solutions, ensuring a selection process based solely on organizational needs and best fit.
- Temporary contract will be 24 months long, renewal will depend on project progress
