Etch Equipment Engineer

We’re searching for an Engineer to be part of our Etch Equipment Department diverse team of talent.
What you will be working on:
- To sustain and improve all equipment performance indices to meet operations goals
- Perform 12 hours rotating day/night shift duties to support production with quality.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshoot equipment-related problems to minimize equipment downtime
- Monitor and control equipment performance indices
- Maximize the uptime of equipment to sustain equipment performance
- Co-ordinate with both process and manufacturing Engineers to ensure work is carried out efficiently to meet module objectives
- Establish stock levels of essential spares and consumables to support equipment maintenance based on forecasted manufacturing volume
- Forecast equipment spares and other equipment-related expenditures
- Provide and maintain PM specifications for equipment to meet ISO requirements
- Organize training for AEs to upgrade their technical skills to perform tasks assigned and maximize their effectiveness
- Implement equipment improvement projects to upkeep capabilities and reliability of equipment with high quality.
- Participate in 10k idea, LSS & BKM programs to optimize equipment utilization and PM cost.
- Execute new equipment start-up to support production, from facilities hook-up, vendor start-up, to acceptance of equipment for production
- Documentation of Corrective Action and Best-Known Methods for equipment to allow more efficient troubleshooting
- Ensure good housekeeping and safety practices in the Fab
- Establish communication channel with Mother FAB to transfer BKM and perform benchmarking.
- To participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) program to response during emergency situation.
More about you:
- Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
- 1-3 years relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply, training will be provided
- Basic engineering knowledge, which may include semiconductor devices theory, electronics, digital principle and wafer fabrication processes.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Basic skill in using various Microsoft business applications
