Credit Reporting
- Perform daily margin calls, collateral shortfall, overdue and excesses monitoring including compliance with regulatory limits
- Liaise with Business Units, Operations and Settlements to ensure rectification of collateral shortfall/margin call/ force sell
- Timely update of collateral movement / revaluation of collaterals to ensure accuracy in the figures reported
- Daily monitoring of negative announcement on stocks and shares which are collateralized and broadcasting to relevant depts.
- Update registers / prepare reports for tracking / monitoring
- Prepare monthly regulatory and management reports including ad hoc reports
Loan Ops
- Monitor and perform loan processing such as new loan drawdown, loan rollover, loan prepayment and repayment to ensure transactions are processed timely and accurately.
- Monitor and perform loan administration such as verification of authorized signatories, repayment schedules, fee calculation, loan collection and loan restructuring etc.
- Liaise with treasury and finance on loan transactions, classification and reconciliation.
- Monitor and perform daily cash management, fund transfer and remittance support such as GIRO and G3.
- Monitor and perform fee collection, issuance loan advices, cashier’s orders, fee advices, audit confirmations, annual loan interest statements and other ad-hoc requests from customers/RM.
- Handle customer inquiries/feedback, call-back, problem solving and resolutions.
- Assist in periodic reporting for management, treasury, finance, HO and regulator.
- Perform the main role of a Maker as well as ad-hoc Checker (as and when required) and ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and within stipulated timeline.
- Provide leave cover/ad-hoc to support team/department’s daily activities when required to minimize any disruption to service delivery.
- Escalate potential operational issues, provide recommendations and suggestions for processes and workflows for SOP to deliver daily tasks efficiently and to mitigate risk effectively.
- Update procedures in SOP to reflect changes to relevant HO and local policies, regulatory requirements and risk control measures to ensure compliance.
