Field Application Engineer (IoT / Energy Systems)

We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Field Application Engineer to support the deployment, tuning, and optimization of our AI-driven energy management systems.

You will play a key role in preparing and validating our next-generation NILM (Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring) edge controller, supporting field deployments and helping fine-tune AI energy analytics in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support system setup in lab and customer sites (HVAC energy management & NILM controller)
• Perform device calibration (power meters, sensors, controller)
• Conduct field data collection to assist NILM AI tuning
• Work with design engineer to develop and enhance the system
• Support system integration testing and pre-shipment validation
• Assist in on-site tuning for pilot sites and first market rollouts
• Troubleshoot field issues and collaborate with engineering team for continuous improvement
• Maintain detailed deployment and tuning records
• Support customer teams (e.g. HVAC partners, SME site users) during first installations and tuning cycles

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, IoT Systems, or related fields
• Hands-on experience with IoT systems, smart devices, or embedded systems is an advantage
• Familiar with basic networking and field protocols (MQTT, Modbus TCP) is a strong plus
• Comfortable with field work — able to perform on-site system setup & tuning
• Good understanding of power and energy monitoring systems is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication — able to work with internal engineers & external partners
• Fresh graduates with strong hands-on skills and willingness to learn are welcome to apply

You will work closely with our System Architect and Embedded Systems Engineer. As you gain experience in energy systems deployment & tuning, you will have the opportunity to grow into a Technical Field Lead role, supporting wider regional rollouts and advanced tuning of AI energy systems.
