Job’s mission
As a Field Process Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of delivering ASM’s world-class semiconductor technologies to our customers. From leading product installations to developing advanced process solutions, your work ensures that our innovations perform reliably in real-world environments. This is a customer-facing, hands-on role where your technical insight, planning skills, and collaborative spirit will drive performance, build strong partnerships, and shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing.
What you will be working on
- Understand current customer needs and anticipate future challenges to build long-term, trusted relationships.
- Lead new site startups, drive equipment installations, and assess project risks to ensure smooth execution.
- Develop and optimize processes post-installation, ensuring consistent performance and high customer satisfaction.
- Continuously improve the customer experience through team collaboration, process enhancement, and better support tools.
- Define project scope, lead resource planning, and escalate gaps or risks to management.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Support Engineers, Sales, and Business Units.
What we are looking for
- Minimum a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Deep technical knowledge in semiconductor processing with ALD, CVD, Furnace, or EPI systems.
- Proven experience supporting complex instrumentation and process applications in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English communication skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- A team player who thrives on collaboration and drives toward practical, customer-focused solutions.
