Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Finance with a strong background in commodity trading and expertise in payment and settlement processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of financial leadership, risk management, and strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals.
- Manage payment and settlement processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and mitigate financial risks associated with commodity trading, including currency fluctuations, credit risk, and market volatility.
- Lead treasury functions, including cash flow management, liquidity planning, and financing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize trading operations and improve financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and standards.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the CEO and board of directors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with at least 5 years in the commodity trading industry.
- Strong expertise in payment and settlement systems, particularly in a global trading context.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, risk management, and treasury operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
