Job Description
Role Summary
TOMRA Collection Asia is driving sustainability and circular economy initiatives across key Asian markets, including Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and mainland China. Our R&D and operational support hub is in Xiamen, China.
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our regional team based in Singapore. This role will support financial operations across multiple Asian entities, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and effective financial planning. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead all financial planning, budgeting, and analysis across Asian entities.
- Assist in financial analysis to support business decisions, cost control, and performance tracking.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards across jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support statutory reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the regional finance team to standardize processes and improve reporting efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow, intercompany transactions, and support treasury activities.
- Participate in system upgrades, process improvements, and internal control initiatives.
- Work closely with local teams and regional leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/CA preferred.
- 7–10 years of relevant finance experience, ideally in a multinational or regional setting.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance in Asia.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate in multicultural, remote teams.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage due to regional communication needs.
