Responsibilities :
Responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting.
- This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles.
- Practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
- Supervises the group of accounting staffs and is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitors and analyses department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
- Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.
- Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
Requirements :
- Degree in Accounting / Financial Accounting with 10 years in similar capacity preferred.
- Strong in Financial analysing and reports.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as ability to multi-task.
- Possess strong work ethics, good initiatives, and a process-improvement mindset.
- Hands-on and self-motivated team-player.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, to perform the core job duties accurately and to prioritize and deliver within tight deadlines.
