Overview
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the financial health and sustainability of our organisation. This role will ensure sound financial management, compliance with regulations, and effective use of resources to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and board review
- Monitor cash flow, forecasts, and reserves to ensure financial stability
- Oversee grant management, including donor reporting and compliance with funding requirements
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and statutory obligations (audit, tax, regulatory filings)
- Support the leadership team with financial analysis to guide decision-making
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
- Supervise and support finance staff
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA) preferred
- Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations
- Proficient in financial systems and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Commitment to the mission and values of the non-profit sector
