What You'll Do

We are a dynamic, high-growth business incubated within the Boston Consulting Group over the past three years. As we enter our next phase of scale, we are seeking a Business Operations & Planning Senior Manager – BCG U to join our leadership team. This individual will be instrumental in architecting and implementing modern, scalable systems and processes that enable sustainable growth — with a strong focus on leveraging automation, technology, and AI to drive operational efficiency and simplicity.

Key responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership
  
  • Partner with the Rise Senior Director and leadership team to shape the next phase of growth.
  • Build and manage annual and rolling budgets aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Lead forecasting, financial planning, and scenario modeling for decision-making.
• Finance Operations
  
  • Oversee all aspects of financial operations: A/R, A/P, payroll, cashflow, audit, reporting.
  • Lead and streamline billing and collections processes, especially for complex revenue flows involving consumers, loans, and government subsidies.
  • Build and maintain robust internal controls and compliance processes.
  • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely compliance with BCG's reporting requirements
• Process Modernization
  
  • Leverage software, automation, and AI tools to redesign workflows, reduce manual work, and improve accuracy.
  • Implement scalable finance and operations systems fit for a mid-size tech-enabled business.
• Team & Vendor Management
  
  • Build and manage a lean, high-performing team spanning finance and operations.
  • Oversee vendor sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Collaborate with legal, HR, and regulatory advisors as needed.
• Compliance & Stakeholder Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (Malaysia and Singapore).Bonus: Drive financial reporting for
    government clients and funders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.

What You'll Bring

• 7–12 years of progressive finance and operations experience, ideally including leadership
  roles in startups or scaling companies.
• Proven experience managing:
  
  • Revenue operations with loans, subsidies, or deferred payment structures.
  • Finance teams responsible for A/R, A/P, payroll, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Vendors and external partners (accounting, legal, payroll, etc.).
• Strong systems thinking — you thrive on simplifying, streamlining, and automating using
  modern finance/ops tech.
• Analytical, structured, and an excellent communicator — comfortable diving into numbers
  but equally effective with the leadership team and external partners.
• Excellent leadership and communication skill
