This role involves tracking and working with various stakeholders, ensuring project deliverables align with company financial goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage finance-related projects ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements
- Monitoring project progress, risk and issues within the project area; Assess the appropriate response including the prioritization, action plans and follow up measures as needed to ensure that project advances accordingly to plan
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting, finance, IT, and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies throughout project execution.
- Develop test plans and related documentation, execute UAT, oversee migration and production support handover.
- Step into other finance related roles and responsibilities if necessary to fulfill project requirements, ensuring continuity and successful project delivery.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience
- Bachelor’s Accountancy or related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Finance operations or analysis and familiar with project/contract financial management (eg. Project Budget tracking, understand concept of % completion)
- Good working knowledge of SAP software/dashboard/analytical tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Pivot Table analysis, Excel Macro, Word, Powerpoint)
- Organized, detailed, proactive, and self-motivated
- Independent and strong team player with ability to build rapport and collaborative working relationships with all levels.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and can communicate well (both written and verbal)
