Key Responsibilities:
- Lead general accounting operations: AP/AR, fixed assets, banking, tax, credit control, and budgetary compliance.
- Ensure accurate monthly and year-end closings, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including actuals vs. budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze financial trends and operational results to identify cost-saving and profit opportunities.
- Manage internal and external audits; enforce adherence to international accounting standards.
- Oversee working capital management: credit risk, payment terms, collections, and inventory controls.
- Administer treasury activities including cash flow, forex hedging, and compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (GST, WHT, corporate taxes).
- Support financial operations across holding and subsidiary entities.
- Liaise with various internal departments and external stakeholders to meet financial and regulatory objectives.
- Handle additional corporate functions such as secretarial duties, government reporting, insurance, CAPEX, and leases.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or equivalent preferred).
- At least 4 years in accounting, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Background in external audit and/or strong internal controls knowledge. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office, and ERP systems.
