- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on experience in network security, specifically firewall administration and management.
- Proven expertise with major firewall platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, or Check Point.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network architecture.
- Experience managing firewalls in hybrid environments, including cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises networks.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, SOX).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to network security incidents.
- Relevant certifications preferred:
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
