Functional Business Analyst – Corporate Internet Banking & Payments

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Functional Business Analyst with strong expertise in Corporate Internet Banking and Corporate Payments to join our banking client in Singapore. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to gather requirements, drive solutioning, and support delivery of digital payment capabilities and enhancements for corporate banking customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the key liaison between business users and IT teams for corporate digital banking and payment systems.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to:
- Corporate internet banking platforms (e.g., user management, approval matrix, entitlements)
- Payment products (SWIFT, RTGS, FAST, GIRO, PayNow Corporate, cross-border payments)
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
- Support end-to-end project lifecycle: requirements, solution design, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.
- Conduct impact analysis for changes in payment regulations or platform enhancements.
- Work with vendors or internal technology teams to validate design and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Lead and coordinate UAT activities with business stakeholders.
- Prepare training material, SOPs, and support documentation for corporate customers and internal teams.
- Ensure solutions comply with MAS regulations, internal policies, and security standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Functional/Business Analyst in the corporate banking domain.
- Strong working knowledge of Corporate Internet Banking platforms and corporate payment workflows.
- Familiarity with local and cross-border payment schemes: SWIFT, RTGS, GIRO, FAST, PayNow, ACH, etc.
- Experience with file-based payments, host-to-host integration, and API banking is a strong plus.
- Understanding of corporate user roles, authorization matrix, and entitlements.
- Exposure to compliance, fraud controls, and security in digital banking channels.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Agile/Scrum experience preferred.
