The Art Faculty (TAF) is a Social Enterprise established by Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) which supports inclusion and celebrates the abilities of persons on the autism spectrum. The artists from the Artist Development Programme (ADP) earns royalties from the sale of their artworks and merchandise and also learn about the value and dignity of work and financial independence.
What you will learn from this internship:
- Explore engaging audiences in real-time art showcasing opportunities
- Develop an understanding of intentions behind exhibition planning & programming
- Connect with a fantastic group of creative people on the autism spectrum and expand understanding of their condition
- Exhibition management including:
- Physical Preparation, Installation and Execution
- Logistics Management
- Gallery Supervision & Public Engagement
As a Gallery Support Intern, your Impact and Contribution includes:
- Hands-on involvement in planning, producing and executing a public exhibition at a prestigious hotel, including the opening event and launch party
- Opportunity to contribute to Singapore's communities of differently-abled artists and support for people on the autism spectrum
- Gain experience as a Gallery Guide throughout a 2-month public exhibition in the CBD
- Support the full arc of TAF's artwork & exhibition department with full exposure to daily responsibilities in Program Execution
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements
- Open to University graduates, Junior College or Polytechnic students
- Able to commit from August 2025 - Early January 2026
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Independent, self-driven and able to multi-task
- Highly flexible and adaptable to changing business environment
- Team player with a "can do" attitude
- Working hours: 5 days a week, including Saturdays and/or Public Holidays (8 hours a day)
