The role:
This is a Telesales role which offers you the opportunity to connect customers with products that meet their needs, by marketing general insurance policies to the mass markets through outbound telemarketing.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and campaign KPIs, including call quality and operational standards
- Conduct outbound calls to clearly present and promote general insurance products to new and existing customers
- Identify and act on opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell products
- Convert company-generated leads into successful sales
- Ensure all call interactions comply with regulatory and quality assurance guidelines
- Maintain accurate customer records in the database
Note: Comprehensive training will be provided. For those without GI Certifications, company will be providing training and covering exam fees.
Who We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
- GCE ‘O’ Level / equivalent
- Preferred experience in telemarketing, sales, or the financial services industry
- Possession of General Insurance certifications (BCP, PGI, HI) is an added advantage
Skills and Attributes:
- Proficient in English with strong verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with outbound calling and engaging various stakeholders
- Confident, articulate, and persuasive communicator
- Resilient in handling objections and rejection
- Results-driven with a proactive, can-do attitude
