Your role consists of:
- Design and develop analog and digital circuit boards for embedded systems, sensors, communication modules, and power systems.
- Create and review schematics and PCB layouts using tools such as Cadence design suite or OrCAD.
- Conduct simulations, prototyping, and bench testing of hardware components, concept and systems.
- Select appropriate components and ensure compatibility with system requirements and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with firmware/software engineers to ensure hardware-firmware-software integration.
- Work with manufacturing teams to support DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Test).
- Document hardware designs, specifications, and test procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues from development through production stages. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
You check most of the qualifications listed below and have the eagerness to learn and develop your technical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in electronic hardware design and development.
- Proficiency with CAD tools for circuit design (Schematic).
- Strong understanding of FPGAs, power electronics, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet 1G, 10G, Serdes, Aurora, ).
- Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, etc.
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI design practices and compliance testing.
- Experience in high-speed PCB design and signal integrity analysis
- Familiarity with product development life cycle (from concept to production).
