RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Guide the sales team in refining strategies for lead conversion and revenue growth including potential international expansion.
- Lead and inspire the marketing team in positioning, campaigns, and industry trends to strengthen SMU Academy's brand locally and over time, regionally.
- Support and align the Industry Practice Masters team in ensuring program relevance and compliance.
- Champion Career Services to enhance graduate employability across selected programmes.
- Gradual Overseas Growth & Partnerships
- Explore opportunities to extend SMU Academy's programs to new markets, working closely with teams to market and adapt offerings based on demand.
- Balance global aspirations with local excellence and quality assurance, ensuring overseas growth complements (rather than distracts from) our core local operations.
- Cross-Team Alignment & Collaboration
- Foster synergy between cluster, pillars and Overseas Centres —ensuring a seamless learner journey from enquiry to career success.
- Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor deliverables and work with teams to refine strategies.
- Celebrate successes and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and adaptation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor's degree.
- The following qualifications would be highly advantageous:
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA).
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP).
- WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP).
- At least 10 years of work experience, preferably in education-related areas.
- Experience in IHLs (Singapore Autonomous Universities, Polytechnics and/or ITE) would be highly advantageous.
- Motivated, disciplined. Process orientated and organized individual who can work independently and manage motivated functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess high level of communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong people management skills.
- Able to work collaboratively with others.
