Position Summary
The Head of Finance plays a critical leadership role in managing the financial health of the organization. This role ensures financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment with business goals, supporting core operations such as stem cell processing, cryogenic storage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
- Manage monthly and quarterly financial reports, performance reviews, and variance analysis.
2. Strategic Finance & Business Development
- Develop financial models and business cases for new services (e.g., cord lining, genetic screening).
- Support leadership with insights on pricing, cost optimization, capital investments, and expansion planning.
3. Governance & Stakeholder Engagement
- Interface with regulators (e.g., MOH), external auditors, board members, and investors.
- Prepare financial disclosures and documentation for regulatory reporting, public listings, or business continuity events.
4. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Work closely with operational, clinical, laboratory, and risk management teams to ensure business alignment.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in senior finance roles, preferably in healthcare , life sciences , or regulated sectors .
- Proven track record in financial planning, regulatory compliance, stakeholder reporting, and crisis management.
Skills
- Strong command of financial systems, Excel, and modeling tools.
- Deep understanding of Singapore's healthcare and regulatory landscape.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience handling audits, regulatory reviews, and financial crises.
