Job Summary:
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be a vital member of our care team, providing essential support to residents in their daily lives. Your compassionate nature and commitment to excellence will help ensure our residents receive the highest quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care : Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Mobility Assistance : Help residents with transfers, ambulation, and the use of mobility aids.
- Nutrition & Hydration : Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring food and fluid intake.
- Emotional Support : Build rapport with residents, provide companionship, and engage them in activities and conversations.
- Safety & Hygiene : Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Communication : Effectively communicate with residents and fellow team members.
- Documentation : Accurately record and report observations and changes in resident conditions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience : Prior experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Compassion : A genuine desire to help and care for others.
- Patience & Empathy : Ability to understand and respond to the needs of vulnerable individuals.
- Physical Fitness : Able to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility needs.
Additional Information:
- Working Hours : Able to work on rotating shifts consisting of morning, afternoon and night, including weekends and public holidays.
