Hospital Development Manager / Senior Manager (Healthcare Operations)
Location: West (Temporarily based at Kent Ridge)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: Up to $8,200++ (Basic, commensurate with experience)
Working Hours:
- 5-day work week (Mon–Thurs: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Fri: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Occasional early meetings (from 7:30 AM) or after-hours engagements may be required Weekend activities may occur occasionally, though infrequently

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team in a hospital development project. You will play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare by driving clinical service planning, operational readiness, and service design in collaboration with key stakeholders and consultants. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a major healthcare infrastructure project.
️ Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in user engagement workshops to contribute clinical and operational insights during the hospital planning phase.
- Lead discussions on hospital development, including service planning, infrastructure design, and resource planning.
- Collaborate with consultants, medical planners, and internal stakeholders to design patient-centric service flows aligned with strategic objectives.
- Organize and facilitate stakeholder workshops to define project requirements, technologies, and design assumptions.
- Develop end-user briefs, operational guidelines, and workflow processes; coordinate workshops to test new models (virtually and physically).
- Prepare business cases to secure approvals and funding for infrastructure development.
- Monitor and track progress across workstreams; escalate key issues to senior management as needed.
- Prepare progress reports and presentations for hospital committees and senior leadership.
- Oversee implementation of hospital operational models and ensure alignment with approved budgets and care frameworks.
- Manage meeting logistics, including agenda setting, minute-taking, venue booking, and catering arrangements.
- Handle procurement requests, invoice processing, and maintain documentation and filing systems. Support other administrative and project-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in healthcare operations or hospital planning.
- Candidates with more relevant experience may be considered for a Senior Manager appointment.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships across various organizational levels.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Highly organized, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
